Romeo & Juliet on tour

Rebel Shakespeare Company of Winter Island, Salem MA, is taking its show on the road. The Teen Intensive Program will perform the 9th grade frameworks traditional classic "Romeo and Juliet" in ways you've never imagined.

Shows will be held in Lynn, Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Newburyport and Haverhill.

The teen intensive program consists of 18 high school students from around the north shore. Some of them have "grown up" in the program, performing Shakespeare since age 9; others are enjoying their second or third year in the program.

Each show will be different from the last, simply because of where the shows are taking place. A castle in Haverhill! A playground in Salem! A rose garden in Lynn! And the old home turf of the program for many many years -- Fort Sewall in Marblehead.
