Conductor on train that didn't stop in time at South Station sues railroad

MBCR conductor Alexis Roman yesterday filed a federal lawsuit against his employer for injuries he says he received when a Worcester Line train crashed into the bumper at the end of the tracks at South Station on Sept. 15.
Roman says that by allowing the crash, the company, which operates the MBTA's commuter lines, was negligent and failed to provide him with a safe workplace.
His lawsuit does not specify the nature of his injuries, but says they caused him injuries severe enough to results in physical pain, mental anguish and lost wages. About a dozen people were treated for what officials said at the time were minor injuries.
The complaint, in US District Court in Boston, does not state how much Roman wants as recompense. Complete complaint.

Let me get this right..the Conductor is in charge of the train,an employee that he supervises violates several rules and yet he blames/sues the railroad because they were negligent! He is disgraceful
technically he is in charge
technically he is in charge but is in the back of the train so there was no way for him to anticipate the accident.also mbcr frequently forces employees to sue by denying them wages while out on an injury that occurred at work.the railroad doesnt have workers comp.

IF YOU WORKED FOR THE MBTA AND MBCR YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND WHY HE HAS TO SUE. IF ANYTHING THE AG SHOULD INVESTIGATE THESE TWO COMPANIES.

If you worked for this company you would understand why he has to sue. I think the AG should investigate these two companies MBTA and MBCR. Strange things are going on.
