Two words:
Hatchet Job.
Not in his district, don't know the guy, but reading it through, looks like (shock, gasp!) el Globo's editorial position has crept into their news (ahem!) reporting.
This is no hatchet job, read this link which has court documents
This is no hatchet job. Read the story from Perry's own local newspapers, Cape Cod Today and The Plymouth Daily News. This thorough piece written by Richard Latimer presents several pieces of evidence, court documents, and court statements that make it clear that Perry covered up for the child molester...
"not verified" is right,
PDN is a website, not a newspaper. (At least it isn't carried alongside the "Old Colony Memorial"at my local Plymouth newsstand.) If I were a Democrat, I would be careful about pursuing the "respondeat superior" attack on Perry. Last time I looked, Republicans were in a minority around here. If they want to go up the reporting ladder every time a cop does something inappropriate, a lot more "D's" than "R's" will get tarred. If Perry were guilty of what is alleged above, where was their outrage for the last few years? Do we just pursue justice for the victim when the stakes get higher? Anyone over the age of consent knows that there is no such thing as a "coincidence" in MA politics.
