Why not have your title: Rush wins Primamry? Which is what happened right? He isn't going to get every vote.
56% to 44% for an incumbent
56% to 44% for an incumbent with a hell of lot more name recognition that Michael Walsh? An incumbent that spent over 60 grand before the primary and who has every union in his pocket. That was, by no means, a huge win.
Too funny
You're grabbing for straws here. Doesn't really matter other than he won.
Rush won 3 to 1 in his home turf where he was an incumbent.
Not an incumbent in Norwood, Dedham and Westwood.
He won by 4000 votes overall. That is big.
Walsh had run in the past for various offices including this one so folks in the suburbs did know him and Rush basically tied him in Norwood and Dedham in his first run for the seat. That is very big.
All this equals a Rush win in November.

No matter West Roxbury is a winner...
11/2 will be victory day for West Roxbury whether Brad Williams or Mike Rush wins the Senate seat as both are from West Roxbury.
However, it's time for a CHANGE, West Roxbury residences must break their allegience to Mike Rush and VOTE BRAD WILLIAMS as our new leader on Beacon Hill.
West Roxbury and the entire district needs change.
