New Melnea Cass recreation center opens

Replaces a dilapidated old hockey rink, now features non-skating recreational facilities, including a pool (open?), track, classrooms and space for events.

Ambiguous wording in the press release
It does now feature a pool, but the pool isn't new.
Today it was empty and there was a News 5 truck there, presumably because you can't talk about pools being shut down by alarmist fucks without showing footage of an empty pool.
