Old salt at Fishermen's Feast
By adamg on Mon, 08/22/2011 - 9:25am
OK, maybe he's really a stockbroker or teacher or something, but this guy photographed by Jeff Tamagini this past weekend at the Fishermen's Feast in the North End sure looked like he could jump into a dorry and haul some traps up.
Of course, what would a feast be without food? Photographynatalia also attended the feast:

Someone please give this man
Someone please give this man a corncob pipe
But please...
....in the name of god and all that's holy...don't give him a can of spinach. You won't like him when he's angry.
Italian Fest response
He loves spinich.... he has been sporting a hat similar to the photo for 50 yes I said 50 years He just celebrated his 71 birthday and this photo and all the comments made his day
To Mrs Fisherman:
God bless him and you as well with many more happy years.
Feast Food
I can't speak for any of the deep fried brownies or Oreos or anything else, but the zeppole from the stand pictured above was heavenly. It was the heavier, more bread-like kind, which is my preferred version. I hope they're at St. Anthony's this weekend.
Greek fisherman hat? Is this
Greek fisherman hat? Is this guy at the wrong festival?
A spy?
