Stockyard finally
Stockyard finally sells...looks like it may re-opem in January?
On Friday, Hub restaurateur Michael Conlon finalized a $4.1 million purchase of the Stockyard steakhouse property that overlooks the highway. The eatery abruptly closed in July but Conlon, taking over from the Manning family, is expected to revive the restaurant with a new menu and other upgrades.

Lot of speculation that Davis of New Balance is the real purchaser of the Stockyard and that liquor licence will be for his hotel.

I had heard that the deal had fallen through because of a law suit by former employees over tips. Sad to see the place locked up. Such a neighborhood institution. Hope it opens soon.

Speculation is a large hotel on the parcels from Grossmans to the Stockyard. Davis was dealing with the Manning brothers but talks fell apart. Don't be surprised to see a flip.
