Steve Murphy hangs on for dear life...

The new Suffolk University Poll conducted by David Paleologos is out today. What we already knew was the Boston Mayoral Contest is razor thin with Martin Walsh surging to a 3 point lead over John Connolly with a 5.5% plus/minus margin of error.

What we did not know is that Boston City Councilor At-Large is clinging for his political life. Murphy sits in a distant fourth place at 10% with Jeff Ross only 2 points behind Murphy at 8%. Right behind Ross is Annissa Essabai George and Jack Kelly at 7% and Marty Keogh a point behind them. The margin or error is 5.5% in the Councilor At-Large race.

This poll makes it clear that all eight Boston City Councilor At-Large Candidates have a clear shot at winning one of the four seats.
