DA: Intruder made himself at home in couple's boat
UPDATE: Pfaltzgraff will be a landlubber for at least the next three weeks - Boston Municipal Court Judge Thomas Horgan imposed $5,000 bail and ordered a three-week evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital, the DA's office says. This comes following an 18-month term in a county jail for a similar incident in 2010.
A couple returned to their boat, moored off Commercial Street early yesterday to find a stranger "eating their cake, drinking their beer, and smoking their cigars," the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Eric Pfaltzgraff, 39, had an explanation for what he was doing, the DA's office adds:
When confronted, he allegedly claimed to work for the Boston Police Harbor Patrol. At the time, Pfaltzgraff was allegedly wearing the man’s Rolex watch but returned it before the real Boston Police took him into custody.
He's scheduled for arraignment in Boston Municipal Court on a breaking-and-entering charge, the DA's office reports.
Innocent, etc.

I'm just pleased
the injured party got their Rolex back. What is this world coming to?
He must not be from around here
Hiding in a boat in these parts doesn't usually end well, homie.
Lucky perp
He's just lucky they didn't call in the SWAT team to pepper the hull full of holes first.
If you keep your Rolex on
If you keep your Rolex on your boat you deserve to have it stolen.
Even vulgarians should be protected against theft,
but an upgrade in taste probably wouldn't hurt. Most Rolexes (Rolices?) are hideous.
Maybe he lives on it?
Just sayin'
Reply to idiot
We LIVE on this yacht. We have everything we own onboard. No, we do NOT deserve to have anything stolen from our home.
Sincerely,
Doug
Don't waste your time arguing with an idiot
He'll drag you down to his level and then beat you with his experience.
I'm sorry you came back to find a stranger in your home, and I'm glad the outcome was relatively benign.
Eric Pfalzgraf is an alias.
His real name is Jeff Spicoli.
Not the first time for Pfalzgraf

The judge ordered him to be tortured for 3 weeks?
That seems to be the only purpose of Bridgewater State "Hospital". Really, the place should be permanently closed down.
yeah,
first thing I think of when a guy gets caught dead to rights ripping off someone's home is:"But what about his accomodations?" So just because the guy has some nice stuff, he deserves to be robbed?
