Roxbury man charged in connection with gunshot death of man in Georgetowne apartment
A Dorchester man who was in a Hyde Park apartment Tuesday night faces a variety of gun charges related to the death of a man police say broke into the apartment.
Troy Adams, 53, had bail set at $10,000 at his arraignment today on charges of charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with altered serial numbers and possession of a large-capacity feeding device, police say.
Adams was not charged with murder for the death of Darison Pujols, 23, at 226 Margarettta Dr., although officials say the investigation into the incident, which also involved a woman who was not injured, is continuing. According to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office:
The evidence gathered by Boston Police homicide detectives and Suffolk prosecutors since that time suggests that Pujols broke into the residence. Adams, who was present inside the apartment, was armed. Pujols and Adams both sustained gunshot injuries during the encounter that followed. Pujols was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he died of his injury. Adams was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and survived.
A spokesman for the DA's office adds:
Pujols was known to the resident of the Margaretta Drive apartment. His intentions once inside are part of the investigation, but investigators believe his presence there was not random.
Innocent, etc.

The guy in your article is 20
The guy in your article is 20. The article is dated 2005. Which would make that guy 29 years old now. The guy arrested in the Georgetowne shooting is 53. Looks like different guys, same name.

I'm most concerned that he
I'm most concerned that he aged 33 years in just 9 years. However, if every day for this man is nearly 4 days, do we A: blame him for being so angry, and B: consider him to be incredibly felonious if his incidents were 33 years apart, for all intents and purposes?
