Scruffy guy sought for two Brookline bank holdups

Nice hat.

Brookline Police report they are looking for a scruffy-bearded 20something for two bank holdups near the Allston line on Tuesday.

Police say the man, about 5'5" with reddish brown hair, held up the Santander Bank branch at 487 Harvard St. and stuck up the Metro Credit Union branch at 922 Commonwealth Ave.

In both cases, he gave a teller a note - which he then took back before fleeing with cash.

suspiciously like the short dude who robbed the banks in Dorchester. Height, hair color, age roughly match, and the guy in this pic does look like the clean shaven guy in the Meetinghouse Bank pic wearing the Northface hoodie, except he's unshaven.
