The end of Highland Rd. on the Morrison Ave. side always has substantial decorations for this time of year. Also, the house across the street from the end of Morrison at Cedar seemed to put a substantial amount of decorations up this year. Didn't snap any photos.
My friend used to live in the apartment building on Chester St right next to that house in Somerville (though that building is technically Cambridge, just beyond the Somerville line), and they have had brilliant displays for at least 3 years now. Likely longer.

223 Washington St. in Melrose
223 Washington St. in Melrose is a sight--super creepy looking. If I wasn't such a weenie when it comes to haunted houses, I'd check it out for sure.
There's also the Conlon home on Lynn Fells Parkway in Saugus, near Kelly's Roastbeef. He's more famous for his Christmas lights but they do it up for Halloween too: http://www.itemlive.com/news/saugus-resident-goes-all-out-for-christmas-...
Oh, sure!

Didn't see Grew Street...
... in Roslindale listed. Already lots of decorations there -- but some only comes out for Halloween itself.
