Police: Two men spent at least 20 minutes vandalizing Burlington mosque

Burlington Police report they are looking for two white men in a white Crown Victoria who pulled up to the Islamic Center of Burlington overnight to spray-paint "USA" repeatedly and throw eggs at the walls.
One suspect is short and thin and wore bluejeans, a brown jacket and a white mask, police say. The other is about 6' and thin, and wore khakis, a black hoodie and a cloth over his face.
In a statement, Police Chief Michael Kent said:
This is an open and active investigation, and we will use all of the means at our disposal to identify those responsible and hold them accountable for their malicious and disgraceful actions.

As an aside, all of you who thought the guy jacking it at the Serbian church in Cambridge a few weeks ago was funny, that was a desecration as imuch as the Drudgers who went after the mosque in Burlington.
Let's hope hate crime statutes are used to the fullest here.

People want these guys to do hard time, I'm fine with that. But let's extend the same favor to clowns that tied the whole city up for half a day. We can justify it by saying that there may have been some Muslims in those cars.

A little history of that property
I grew up in Burlington and my parents still live there and are usually in on the local scuttlebutt, and if I remember correctly, the Islamic Center of Burlington's location there was an exercise in religious openness and welcome by at least one part of that community. The conveyance of the current mosque, a former Knights of Columbus hall, was apparently facilitated by the late Father John Crispo of St. Margaret's Parish of Burlington who became friendly with the imam of the Islamic Center not long after it was formed there. I don't remember much of a reaction after its sign was (very similarly) vandalized several years ago, but I hope this time that the people of Burlington take a stand against this.
