Well she is highly qualified.
Looking forward to a vastly improved bdc.
Highly qualified?
To do what?
Whats left to oversee?
The guy with the 500 screen names yelling about
McCain...Romney..Trump winning in a landslide? How many subscribers lost after fake Trump front page?
Still waiting for someone to ask how many subscribers left the Globe after the fake Trump front page. As I've posted here many times, when I called the "Dorchester" number to cancel, I reached a CSR in Manilla, Philippines who said in broken English, "many, many" had canceled. It must have been even more than I thought if Henry's child bride has to fill-in, presumably without pay.
You do realize Boston.com and
You do realize Boston.com and the Boston Globe, while owned by the same media group, are two separate entities with different content, no?
And I really hope you're saying the rep was in the Philippines because you asked, not because you assumed there are no people of Asian descent in Dorchester....
I am a subscriber, though not
I am a subscriber, though not the original poster, and I did call to complain about the poor delivery service during their attempt to switch providers. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they could not connect me because they are in Manilla.
Gonna go out on a limb here
My guess is it's just you.
Boston.com /Boston Globe its
Boston.com /Boston Globe its much glamorous today than it was 25 or 30 years ago.
The Names /Living/Arts section is like People magazine, aimed at the Elite and millionaire wanna be's. Never in my wildest imagination that the Boston Globe turned into a tabloid for the local glamorous types. The paper has turned for the worse under Henry's direction.
I agree 100%, the days when
I agree 100%, the days when reading the Boston Globe buying the Sunday paper on a fall Sunday afternoon sharing and enjoying with family , those were the days! Today walk to a convenience store on a Sunday morning you might find 2 Sunday globes, no one really gives a shit these days, and what's with these baseball games at Fenway they charge an arm and a leg for tickets and food at their concession stands, are they trying to keep riff raff out, everyone is White and from suburbia at these Fenway games, I have 0 respect for the Red Sox owners.
Took a look, couldn't believe what I found!!
Prompted by this news, I went to look at boston.com for the first time in at least a year. There was nothing interesting there to me at all. I had already seen all the news on Twitter from other sources, and the "lifestyle" articles and listicles were insipid and not at all relevant to me.
Roughly 42% of Boston.com
Roughly 42% of Boston.com content is recaps of what a Patriots player did on Instagram. "You'll never guess which Die Hard movie Julien Edelman quoted!"
Well, she couldn't make it any worse.
Good luck to her, because what they have at Boston.com now is just horrible. And really, that has to be THE most valuable, highest traffic, signature domain for the city. We deserve better!
Yes
I'm sure her years of training in.....something, will help her restore Boston.com to its former glory.
