Kind of far away from its home base. Any idea why it was in town?

May have been out there for some type of maintenance or inspection

If it was training, they should have known better. If it was a repair, it could have been a mechanic driving it. Either way, it seems to fall on the SUV.
The aerial is junk. They get recerified on a regular basis. No one would sign off on that major of a repair. This is why we have insurance companies.
In other news, let us pray for Mr. Buick, who is suffering from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) before he's even sworn in as President.

Makes you wonder whether the Westwood fire department (with a station right next to this bridge) has to order special low clearance trucks.

Is someone assigned to just hang out there in case someone hits the bridge?

The cost to repair that truck should come out of the driver's pension.

I feel bad that taxpayers will have to pay to get the truck fixed and that they will be short a truck for awhile. Not the usual "ha ha" this time.

So, how much was the ticket?

The "Police" SUV that showed up very quickly after the incident is the same SUV that is seen at the start of the video passing under the bridge in front of the fire truck. My guess would be this SUV is really a Medway fire department SUV that was part of the team that was picking up the Medway fire truck from being serviced. So I bet the driver of the fire truck was just following the SUV back to Medway and not really paying attention.
