Knights of Columbus ride to rescue of Globe Catholic site

The Boston Business Journal reports the Knights of Columbus are taking over Crux and merging it with its own Catholic Pulse site. Crux columnist Margery Eagan is not moving to the K of C, though.

I'm not Catholic, but I thought there was some very good reporting and articles of interest.
Now this makes sense.
Like I said, I never understood it. What about other faiths? it was odd that the Globe concentrated on Catholics and no one else.
I'm really curious what happens to Eagan. She seemed thrilled to finally be considered a Globe employee and could leave the Herald behind since she's so much better than that.
She is someone that I can't figure out how she got to where she is.

What do they do? Another one of those mysterious groups like the Masons...this is 2016, you gotta wonder why these secretive fraternal organizations are still around.

No, they are not secretive. They are a Catholic Fraternal group....that engages in charity work. Nothing secretive at all.

As for secretive, eh, they're not Masons or Skull and Bones or Omega House. They're men united by faith, friendship and a desire to do some volunteering. Some people like that. It's OK if you don't and, if you are, like me, perfectly happy living the hermit's life and not joining any organizations that would have you as a member.
