Balky circuit at Fenway Park throws smoke, but is retired quickly

The Boston Fire Department reports a short circuit in a Fenway Park transformer room around 12:15 p.m. caused some smoke but no damage to the park and no injuries. An Eversource crew relieved firefighters and stepped up to the plate to deal with the problem.

My work is a few blocks from Fenway, and the lights here flickered around the time of this smoke.
The fluorescent lighting in my office is still significantly dimmer than normal, possibly due to a brownout on the local grid due to this transformer failure.
