More Red Line sturm und drang, riders once more left to hang

At least it's not signals this time. The MBTA reports a dead train at Davis is gumming up the works. Among those on one of the baby-steps trains behind it is WBZ 1030 anchor Karyn Regal, who has gone into newsradio mode and is reporting her ride:

We have stopped. Woman next to me sets her lips in a thin grim line and shakes her head slowly; eyes closed.

for a Braintree train. PACKED, OF COURSE; arrived Quincy Center @ 9:49PM: 1 hour, 9 minutes. Should take 20 minutes.
