Either this cheese has been hiding out on the shelf for 6 months (ewww) or they're trying to foist fall flavors on us while there's still snow in the forecast (ick). Either way, we lose.

That's sealed cheese so it should have a long expiration date.

My grocery store still has pumpkin spice coffee and red and green sprinkles, my Trader Joe's is still pushing gingerbread coffee, and my CVS is still selling Christmas and Valentine's Day candies mixed in with the Easter stuff.

I think a lot of stores over-ordered for the holidays this year and are avoiding putting stuff on clearance if it's still in date.

Yeah... that Gouda has been sitting around since the fall. Nobody would put pumpkin packaging out in March. Even the most pumpkin and pumpkin spice loving lovers among us.

The day before the last blizzard, the local Shaw's had plenty of pumpkin spice bagels on the shelf. I bought the last bag of plain bagels.

Maybe supermarkets have this 'attraction' to pumpkin spice...
