A citizen who might want to buy a bird-identification book filed a complaint about a "confused pheasant" on Mt. Vernon Street behind the State House this morning.

I have had the unpleasant experience of finding human feces on the sidewalk or between cars near my Beacon Hill condo and have filed a 311 complaint at least twice (maybe 3 times) and it has been cleaned up.
But if I file a complaint about trash that hasn't been picked up because whatever - sometimes it is picked up and sometimes not.

Peeing might be gross, but I can wrap my head around it. Poop on the other hand- that's just nasty.

You always forget the part about how he paid the city to move that hydrant, and how it made an enormous amount of sense to move it.
Anybody can have a fire hydrant moved...
Two abodes back, one of my neighbors had the hydrant moved next to the driveway, so there would be a parking space in front of the house and less likelihood that someone would park in the hydrant.
You don't have to be a politician, just a homeowner in a crowded neighborhood.
