Looks sloppy to me
Looks bad. Couldn't they have done a better job fitting it in with cobblestones? Great lady, poor execution.
Cobblestones?
That’s brick. Just saying.
That's asphalt
The area under the arches is messy-looking asphalt and I hope it's temporary. Maybe there's a wait for a master bricklayer to do the cutting and fitting that's needed there.
Memorial design in the Back Bay is very restrictive
Most designs are revised or rejected. Artists either tone down their original proposal or look for another suitor if they're rejected outright. For example. Go to the so called Collier Memorial at MIT. Its better known as the explosion memorial and is meant to be seen from above. Put two & two together
is pope frank still handing out sainthoods?
saint kip sounds good.
I love it
