Orange Line delays had the scent of fall; what with leaves on fire and all

The MBTA reports workers have put out the "leaf debris that was smoldering" just inbound from Ruggles that was causing smoke and delays of up to 15 minutes on the Orange Line as train drivers were ordered to stand by rather than risk driving through the Great Smoky Tracks. No word if the $50 million in extra T spending the governor just announced includes money for rakes.
