Ken Sazama has created a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to say good bye to the workers at Hyde Square mainstay Sorella's, which is closing for good at the end of this month.
Sorella’s in Jamaica Plain is closing and many of the employees - managers, waitstaff and cooks have worked there for many years. They have families and loved ones that they support with this job. They have all been a big part of our daily lives, let’s support them and give them a nice goodbye gift help them in next steps of employment and life.

We ALL (Well Most)
Have already donated via our paycheck. Its called unemployment, assuming the owner didn't pay them under the table.
This is a little much.
So much anger for one morning
Nobody's forcing you to contribute.
....or even asking for that
....or even asking for that matter. It exists. It's local news that interests many. Some will want to contribute. Thank you.
Wow, a celebrity sighting!
Didn't realize Ebenezer Scrooge posted on Universal Hub.
The GoFundMe is for the Sorellas workers
and their families. What a thoughtful thing to do starting this campaign for them.
Solidarity to the Sorella's workers! Oh, and the food will be missed, too.
I mean, besides
the food being terrible and the service being bad, and being located in basically what amounts to a cleared out apartment (reminding you that if you weren't hung over you could do this at home for 1/2 price) why are they closing?
Read the article
if you actually care, which I suspect you don't.

Change is hard
But as quality restaurant workers, I'm sure most will land on their feet and maybe even get a raise.
