Silver Line riders still have to pay, even without power in the transitway

The MBTA reports delays of up to 30 minutes on the SL1, SL2 and SL3 lines due to "a power problem" in the South Boston transitway, you know, where they run via overhead wires, or at least they do when there's no power problem.

There is a feeling among passengers that the police and transportation managers are rubbing it in during these delays by sitting in their air conditioned vehicles while the rest of us are left standing sweltering in the heat..
