DA: Gun used in Brockton holdup matched to bullet used to kill Shawmut Avenue market clerk
Following Tanjim Siam's death this weekend, the man already charged with shooting him was ordered held without bail today at his arraignment for murder, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Stephon Samuels, 25, of Lynn, was first charged with Siam's July 14 shooting earlier this month, while he was already behind bars for the July 22 armed robbery of a Motel 6 in Brockton.
According to the DA's office, "the firearm allegedly used in [Brockton] incident was matched to ballistics evidence located where Siam was shot."
The DA's office adds detectives found fingerprints matching Samuels inside the M&R Market on Shawmut Avenue:
Samuels entered the store and pretended to be interested in making a purchase, but instead produced a firearm and robbed the store. Despite the fact that the victim turned over the contents of the cash register and other items, Samuel allegedly forced Siam into another area of the store at gun point and shot him at close range. Samuel then fled the store. The armed robbery and shooting were captured by the store’s video surveillance system.
Innocent, etc.

Will still be better than what Mr. Siam got.
"was ordered held without
