DeCordova Museum, Crane Beach to re-open May 19

The Trustees of Reservations announced this morning they're reopening several more of their properties, including the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Crane Beach in Ipswich and World's End in Hingham, on May 19.

We recognize that these are some of our most beloved sites and we have been working hard to reopen them safely, in line with CDC guidance and directives from Governor Baker.

Please note that, due to concerns about overcrowding, we are limiting capacity to just 50% of our parking lots at these sites.

We know how difficult it has been to get outside, get exercise, and connect with nature over the past weeks, and we are pleased and proud to be expanding access to our special places while balancing the need to slow the spread of the virus.

Damn Autocorrect

Can't blame auto-correct for getting it right in the headline and wrong in the post, alas. Fixed.

This is confusing:
"Q: Will buildings be open at properties?
A: No, all buildings at properties will remain closed, even at our properties that are open."

So is it just the outdoor sculpture park that will be open? Or does this not apply to the deCordova since it's a museum?

The sculpture park and grounds will be open. The museum building, shop, and cafe will be closed.

Probably the same thing will be true at Fruitlands.
