Father of three who was shot during unofficial Carnival celebrations on Blue Hill Avenue last month has died

Boston Police report that a man who was shot on Blue Hill Avenue at Ellington Street early on Aug. 30 died on Sept. 19.

Changa Toyloy was 41. He leaves behind a young son and two stepdaughters, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help pay for his funeral costs.

This is a devastating loss to his family, friends, and Boston's Caribbean community and culture. Changa was a good-hearted man lost in the prime of his life. His large circle of friends and loved ones are grieving.
