Fund set up to help two burned out of their home by that South End fire

Sari Sanchez has started a GoFundMe page to help her mother Samira and sister Yamilet, who lost everything in the fire on West Newton Street Wednesday morning.

Samira, 60, and Yamilet, 24, had lived there for 20 years.

They made it out safe and unharmed along with their pets, but most of their belongings have water and smoke damage and very little can be saved. They are currently out of work as well . Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and we hope to alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to relocate. The money raised will help to cover their immediate expenses.
