Hypocrite, adulterer and abuser of both women and children. I will never get why this piece of garbage is so adored.
Because he wrote catchy songs
So he gets a pass by some.
I have read he was a complete bastard to many people....but who knows?
Album
I bought that album when it came out in September of 1971. It came with a poster and a postcard. Lennon's face was superimposed on the Apple logo on the album label. (Apple was The Beatles' record company before the name and logo were appropriated by Steve Jobs). Albums were great in those days. Lennon's were more honest than many, but a lot of people were making very honest music.
