Capturing the rare quarry moon

Marry Ellen photographically lassoed the moon over the West Roxbury Crushed Stone quarry off Centre and Grove streets last night.

Up north, Matt Frank captured the moon at the Tobin Bridge:

The almost full moon crossed the Tobin Bridge right around the time it reached pedigree last night , whispy clouds made getting a crisp shot hard to get but I enjoyed the one with the 111 bus passing over the moon #chelseama @universalhub @chelseascanner @chelsearecord pic.twitter.com/lkAhIeeNsL
