For the second morning in a row, Bostonians have awoken to a bit of frost on various surfaces, such as greens at the Franklin Park golf course, as thebostonlol shows us.

On our walk to school on Thursday, Waquiot Jr was pondering why the grass was white. That lead to a discussion of frost.

Yes - Agree with Waquiot. Had to scrape my car’s windshield on Thursday morning.

Like without clubs, etc... I guess better question - when does the course close for the winter?

They will play until snow is on the course, and that pause will last until the snow has melted.

That said, I don’t golf, but I did a circuit around the course on Friday. Even stopped in the clubhouse, which is open year round. Franklin Park is an overlooked gem in our city.

I was asking about the wrong golf course - when can I walk around George Wright sans clubs?

Thanks.
