WBUR reports Curtatone made the announcement today; did not say if he'll be running for governor instead.

Somerville has changed tremendously in the past 18 years politically , this should be a very interesting race to watch. It is almost too bad that Boston is having a similar changing of the guard election at the same time because that will take up a huge amount of the press.
