We might get flash flooding after all
By adamg on Wed, 09/01/2021 - 9:51am
The entire state is under a flash-flood watch that runs from 2 p.m. until tomorrow afternoon, although the greatest risk is from the turnpike south, as the remains of Ida pass through:
Widespread 2.50 to 5 inches of rain expected with isolated amounts up to 6 or 7 inches not out of the question. This will bring the potential for rare high impact type of flooding to southern New England.

I never doubted it.
I never doubted it.
It won't be 1955
When Connie and Diane really soaked the area.
"You want a drizzle, downpour or a deluge?"
"Flood the place!"
Took a while
for me to get that reference... but I got there eventually.
TinyArks
We should all build TinyArks if this keeps up.
It hit NYC.
Not us.
