The Jewish Journal allows how Boston is no New York, but still finds plenty of Jewish foodstuffs in the area, including My Grandma's Coffee Cakes of Hyde Park.

Michael's Deli/Coolidge Corneriana
I've not been to Michael's, but Google Maps says that it's on the SW corner of the Beacon/Harvard intersection.
In my youth, I downed a hotdog or two at the Howard Johnson's in that very location.
Anyone recall when that HoJo's met its (timely) demise?
