Cambridge Police report arresting a Somerville woman they say officers found driving a forklift "in a reckless manner" down Prospect Street near Hampshire Street shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday.
Once they stopped her, police say, they arrested her on charges of operating under the influence of drugs, wanton destruction of property worth more than $1,200, use without authority, receiving stolen property and driving the forklift with a suspended license.

That's fantastic! Must have
That's fantastic! Must have a been a wild sight to see.
That's just outside of Inman
That's just outside of Inman Square, an area where I have almost been run over too many times to count. Now I have to watch for drunk forklifters too?
I know, right?
My favorite was when a Leominster driver was upset that a cyclist wouldn't get out of her way in the **right lane** of Hampshire Street, and then got aggro and dented her hood.
You can't make this stuff up!

It wasn't me
...but in a day or so it probably will be. What a week and it's only Monday afternoon.
Whatever, Eeyore.

Whatever, Bot
This comment of yours makes as much sense as all the others: random, pointlessly antagonistic gibberish. You're a trollbot, not a human.
We will warn the State Police
They handle the constabulary duties in your area of WestMass, right?
What is wrong with you?
A lot of people get extra cranky this time of year, and I guess that include you, and it is some kind of extra. Take a day off from being a jerk for once.
Fork Lift Therapy
Fork this!
Fork that!
Fork that other thing!
Very uplifting!
Maybe I'm missing an opportunity here - I could get a bunch of used industrial totes and fill them with water and rocks and then charge people to stack them, topple them, dump them, etc. with forklifts. The griefers could go nuts wrecking the place with the forklifts, and then the stackers could come in and do some therapeutic reorganization and cleanup.
Sounds like a great business opportunity
I've heard of "construction parks" where you can pay to play around with bulldozers and backhoes and whatnot. Forklifts would be a great addition.
(I would like my forklift dressed in a goose costume, please.)
Hey, I've needed a lift at 3
Hey, I've needed a lift at 3 am too.
If, when you are old
you can tell your grandchildren that you were once arrested for driving a stolen forklift down Prospect Street at 3 AM, you will know you have lived well.
I operated a forklift in my younger days, but
I punched out promptly at 5pm every night.
Maybe she trained with Klaus?
The infamous Klaus is, of course, the ultimate unsafe forklift operator.
