First Boston youth soccer team to qualify in national tourney seeks funds to get there

Jamaica Plain News reports on an effort to raise funds so that the Valeo Boston 2007 boys soccer team, with players from Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Dorchester, can play in a national tournament in Colorado in July.

Yes, thanks for the link. Let’s all send whatever we can afford to help these kids accept the opportunity that’s been offered to them.

After reading about the gun-possessing thirteen year old who was driving a car I will assume he had no soccer coach, teammates, positive outlets or role models.

Let’s support these kids who obviously have the talent, but lack the needed cash. Good luck to them!
