Fire on Saratoga Street in East Boston displaces 33 people, several cats

Boston firefighters responded to 861 Saratoga St. for what turned into a three-alarm fire that jumped to a neighboring building, around 6:30 a.m.

The Boston Fire Department reports 24 adults, 9 children and several cats were made homeless.
