Long Shadow - Yup
As corrupt as they come. If you haven't read The Rascal King you are missing out on just how much of a bastard this guy was. Just for fun, read I'd Do It Again, which was Curley's autobiography. Has a certain similar self centered ring to a certain person in the dock in NYC right now.
Too bad Bill Weld wasn't in the US Attorney's Office circa 1930. Curley would have never been Governor.

I guess the reason why his statue is there is because Flynn identified with him without a lot of knowledge, just saw the poster in Doyle's - "Mayor of the Poor"
