Framingham man latest to be charged as Vanilla ISIS member; ranted about Antifa on drive down to DC, feds say

Method

Photos of Method with Christopher Columbus and fellow failed putschists.

A Framingham man was arrested yesterday on a variety of charges yesterday related to the way he allegedly joined in the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6.

When Thomas Method, 57, was interviewed by an FBI agent - three times in 2022 - he initially acknowledged being in the Capitol that day, but denied he was the guy in several videos the agent showed him, because he distinctly remembered wearing his cap backwards that day.

"I believe Method was falsely disclaiming that he was shown in these videos," the FBI agent says in the affidavit used by federal prosecutors in Washington to obtain an arrest warrant charging Method with the felony offense of obstruction of an official proceeding and several misdemeanor offenses, including knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds.

Method was arrested in Framingham and made his initial appearance in federal court in Boston. If he is treated like other Jan. 6 defendants from Massachusetts, his case will be transferred to federal court in Washington - where a judge yesterday unsealed the records in his case.

In addition to surveillance video, the agent looked at video that Method himself posted on TikTok on his drive down to DC - he apparently went stag, rather than hitching a ride on a bus with other Y'all Quedists from the Boston area:

Hopefully the strength in numbers and this movement will get more Senators on board, and we can overthrow this fraud like I have never seen before in my life. ... They are going to have metal detectors. The Antifas not going to be in their colors. They are going to be in plain clothes but so is the Secret Service and the security. Hopefully, Biden don't get in. I don't care what happens as long as Trump maintains his presidency. I have a feeling its going to be mayhem, chaos, and pandemonium.

The agent says the photo of Method standing in front of a painting of Christopher Columbus in the Capitol was taken from Method's own phone.

He was hoping the agent would think they all looked alike!

Not a whole lot of backwards hats in those photos. Guy is several steps ahead of the FBI, throwing them off the scent.

It’s fascinating just how sick and dumb these MAGAs are.

Black Hoodie: Check!
Black Jacket: Check!
Black Pants: Check!
The Black Trump hat is the real giveaway though: Everybody knows real MAGAt hats are red.

No wonder the FBI was confused. /s

I would have put money that somewhere on this guy's Facebook feed is a poorly spelled meme about how wearing your hat backward is up there with wearing sagging pants as a sign of "thuggishness."

I don't know how they ever found him

If Antifa were a real thing (in the USA at least), then...where were they on January 6, 2021?

It's a rhetorical question, of course. These people live in a fantasy world.
