It is used far too much for dark web drug uses, murder for hire payments and the means for selling weapons of mass murder. It does not serve any socially beneficial purpose. It is in effect an imitation of money which legally only the Federal government may issue.

The same criteria can be applied to social media when social media is used to overtly support violence. Advocating death of a person (which is advocating murder) should be banned. Would we accept posting flyers that advocate murder on a local physical bulletin board? No. Would we accept any business taping to their window facing passersby a flyer advocating murder? No. For every legal right there are accepted limits. Even Anton Scalia, in his false interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, nevertheless agreed that the 2nd Amendment is not absolute. He agreed that there are limits
Free speech does not extend to speech that advocates violence or murder. It is time to ban extreme speech.
