So not a Razer Scooter or one of those battery powered updates to it.

Why did we stop using the word "moped" for those two passenger, two wheeled scooters? Is it a New York Times: Manual of Style and Usage thing?

so I don't know if that's an improvement. (The specific definition actually has legal consequences.)

"Motor scooter" vs. "kick scooter" gets you pretty close, although the electric variant of the kick scooter makes things harder to name.

I'll go with "motor scooter" for those two passenger, two wheeled scooters. Now that I looked into it even Vespa calls their motorized products "scooters". Thanks @Tim Mc..

Scooters have no pedals and you sit as if on a toilet

There are scooters without seats. Remember a few years ago when a couple of companies tried flooding the area with those things, and they wound up abandoned all over the place even before Boston banned them?

they get me so angry with all the harm they do….
Oh wait, what’s that you say? It’s the SUVs and trucks which are doing most all of the killing on streets of greater Boston!?!
Maybe we should do something about them!?!

What harm do the sea ducks do?

I really hope this person recovers. It's scary how often I see scooters almost get hit on River Street. The kids, kids to me anyway, next door are always out on the scooters and they fail to realize how careful they need to be on congested streets.

The brand or type of scooter is unimportant.
What is important is the health of its driver.
I hope the driver is ok!

What is ‘Hoodline’ and why did they use the term “altercation?” And, why did they say vehicle 1 hit vehicle 2 when no details were provided?

So it's just making shit up, lightly inspired by real news.
