Second man charged for December murder on Gove Street in East Boston

A Fall River man was arraigned yesterday on a murder charge for the stabbing death of Wilfredo Landaverde Arevalo of Medford at 186 Gove St. in East Boston around 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 15.

East Boston Municipal Court Judge Debra DelVecchio ordered Julio Ardon, also known as Alex Ardon, 26, ordered held without bail as he awaits indictment and trial in Suffolk Superior Court, court records show.

Edwin Mendez Hernandez, 20, of Everett was arrested a week after the murder.
