Sick? Injured? Pain radiating down your left side? Better not head to Carney

Boston Police posted an urgent message, in big red letters today: Stop showing up at the Carney Hospital ER, because it doesn't exist anymore. Call 911 instead, because unlike Steward, they care.

Natural Selection at work?
If you don't know at this point that the Carney is closed...
How humane
There has been a hospital at that location for 71 years. I don't see how ignorance of current events is a good reason to let people die.
Considering that the state is continuing to station an ambulance there for those who show up for another week, but don't feel the need to do the same at Nashoba Valley due to "low volume" there must still be people showing up at the Carney for emergency care. Although, Haitians were the last wave of migration before the Latinos came to the area; I'd say there are more Haitians than African-Americans, Latinos, and Whites living in that neighborhood now. That neighborhood being the Mattapan/Dorchester area.
We won't really know until the next census though.
