Man shot to death in Cambridge

A Springfield man was fatally shot outside 24 Clifton St. shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Cambridge Police and the Middlesex County District Attorney's office report.

Angel Nieves, 21, who was shot in the chest, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"The preliminary investigation suggests this is an isolated incident," police say.
