Peter Wilson reports the Boston Pops have cancelled their spring season and that they're still considering whether to perform on July 4th at the Hatch Shell and this summer in Tanglewood.
WFNX got Snapple to sponsor the concert - and they gave out thousands of bottles of juice. Glass bottles. As one reporter concluded: "Small mobs of punk rock fans roaming Boston's Back Bay looking for action."

A Boston Municipal Court judge today ordered Luis Olivo, 37, sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for evaluation before he is arraigned for allegedly stabbing and beating a woman on the Esplanade Friday afternoon, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

The Esplanade Fiedler Head is sporting a 17-foot-wide, 7-foot-tall knit Sox cap this morning in honor of the team's ALDS victory last night, courtesy of the Esplanade Association.
