John Wayne's heart surgery at MGH, "Get Well Duke"
In early April of 1978 when John Wayne underwent heart surgery at MGH, someone scrawled a similar message, "Get Well Duke" that he (and all) could see from the hospital windows. I forget if they did it in the snow that was left over after the Blizzard of '78 or if it was a painted sign, but this reminded me of it.
And now..a collective...
AWWWWWWWWWWW.... That's the cutest thing I've seen all week!
It IS Way Cool
But, had it been written in yellow, not so much.
