Ya well
Chez Vous in the early 2000's probably saw a shooting a week and its located 2 buildings down the street from the police station. It a cultural issue when people refuse to work with cops and instead seek revenge, aka shooting someone else.
Nothing well change this, well still be talking about it in 50 years.
Why is this small street so deadly?
Seems like I've been hearing about this street for years, enough to know that it has acquired the morbid nickname "Assassination Road".
(And it's the back edge of Wentworth Institute of Technology's campus, too.)
Just a guess ...
But it's possibly because it runs through a housing project with a gang problem, and it's not on larger roads that would be named (like, say, Bromley-Heath with Heath and Centre streets).
Need some Black Lives Matter t-shirts and hoodies
stat to fix the problem. Maybe if given out for free and worn in that neighborhood, the message will get through!
