I like riding at speed
I like riding at speed through the deep puddles on the Somerville Community Path (important to know where the potholes are, though) but I don't think I'd want to chance my bike in seawater.
...oh wait it's a Hubway, hah!
Smaht!
I wouldn't use my own bike for that, either. Why not use an Abuseway instead?
Nothing like riding a
40lbish bike through deep water for a great workout.
Sure he's exhausted
But I be he looks fantastic in a miniskirt.
You may be onto something there ...
Aquaspinning!
Hubway closed 12 stations near the waterfront
System alert: Station shutdowns due to inclement weather & flooding
If it were my decision, I might have closed some of the East Boston stations too
Just like any rental car is
Just like any rental car is the fastest car in the world, a rental bike is the most fun bike you can ever use...
The Venice of New England
While Lowell had some designs of becoming the "Venice" of the Northeast, Boston might think of bringing the Charles river gondolas out into the harbor. Adding a few more gondolas and singing gondoliers might add to the festive atmosphere of this historic and culturally rich city.
And, who knows,
but maybe,
it might become a serious alternative to the T?!
The bike lobby has demanded City Council hearings on
this marine intrusion and arrogant boaters traveling and parking in bike lanes.
Ha! luv it.
Ha! luv it.
The guy's a jerk!
Ruin your own bike if you want, but don't trash a "shared" bike. This cannot be good for the lights or any part of the bike for that matter.
Is that the same guy?
Looks like the same lad as the photo here:

Typical cyclist riding on a sidewalk
No respect for the fish.
That's how this ends up happening

Hubway knows who last rented that bike
and I expect they will charge him for its entire value.
Maybe
If it was last noted as docked they can't.
If it was last noted as "unreturned" they likely already have after an agreed upon number of days.
