Somebody should call Jenny and ask her if she knows who left her such a nice note in the snow

Somebody loves Jenny

Andrea H. looked out her window today and noticed a large affirmation written in the fresh snow on the Christian Science Center reflecting pool. Anybody happen to have Jenny's number handy?

Is that 617, 857, 508, 978?

413?

You'll still get Jenny.

You'd get "The number you dialed is not in service". She disconnected her number due to too many people calling. Just like she did back in the 80s...

A beloved cousin of mine named Jenny recently passed away. She was only 52.

I hope, wherever she is, she sees this and smiles. (No, I wasn't the one who wrote this.)

And yes, growing up, we all sang 867-5309 to her. It was her song.

And...
thankfully, it's not written in yellow.

I'm pretty sure that the message is for Jerry, not Jenny.

I can't remember if I've posted this here or not.. but many years ago, I was involved in a big domain swap with a hate group. At the time I had the phone number of my domain registrar account to be 603-867-5309.

Well when reporters started trying to contact me, they called the number. And got an actual woman named Jenny. A few days into this whole thing, a reporter asked me about the number and said they called it first, and got a Jenny. I felt like I had to call the poor woman and apologize.

She said she asked for the number when she got a cell phone because she thought it would be a hoot. But once the calls started coming in, she turned off the phone. But she was good humored about and wished me luck.

Just too funny.

Jerry.

It's an I.O.U. for Jerry.

imagine this as a dude taking a desperate shot vs. just a love note to an already-solid relationship. More gutsy that way.

Either way, well done. I like romance.
