I've been trying to get Gaffin to have lunch with me for about five years now and after this I'm convinced it will never happen.

About time someone did a piece on one of the last remaining journalists in this town who strive heroically to get those bike nuts to keep clicking.

You are a bike nut?

Actually, you would be far better off if you were.

walk and toke kind of guy. Bikes are cool, unlike those who obsess about them.

a picture to go with your cyber presence, Adam. Must confess I am a little disappointed though. I was expecting something with a cape and a shield?

Glad to see Adam getting some much deserved publicity. I am always trying to turn friends onto this site.

Cool. Adam's a cool guy in my book. I'm a die hard fan and start to go through UHub withdrawal if I miss one day of it!!

Adam noted when this was posted on FB that, No the photo isn't 12 years old; his wife just likes the picture on that calendar page.

Thanks. Phew, I can sleep better now :)

A 2006 calendar could have been used for 2017. Other than the year itself, they are identical.

Great interview! Reminded me to make one of my every-once-in-awhile Paypal donations. It's not much (more than than I give the Glob these days though) but hopefully it helps keep Adam in skittles and beer (or diet coke).

That was cool to read and put a face on the guy behind this fun website and the great stalled T limericks, but at the same time, after reading it I kinda felt like Dorothy after she met the Wizard. I always figured Adam was either on the either on the younger side of Gen-X or one of the oldest millennials, so it's kinda strange to find out that he could have been a freshman in high school when my mom was a senior. If there is one thing I don't like about the internet, it is that it spoils some of life's fun mysteries, such as what people I went to summer camp with in the 80s are up to now, what my 3rd cousins in California had for brunch, or what the guy behind one of my favorite websites to kill time with at work looks like. I hope I never see any similar articles about my favorite anonymous prolific UHub commenters (here's looking at you Swirly Grrrl, Burzum, CapeCodder et al) as I have mental images of them that I hold dear after being a surfer of this website for going on 8 years or so, even though they have no basis in reality. I think I'll go have an existential meltdown, but only a small one.

Back in my day [he says, while puffing on a pipe and slowly rocking on the porch], it was like that with radio DJs.

Your home seriously needs some updated appliances. The background looks like you have gone back in time into a house from the 50s

What's it to ya?

Um, what appliances? All you can see is our toaster oven, which is maybe 10 years old. Maybe you mean the decor? If so, eh, we like the rustic kitchen look. I'd say more, but It's time for me to pump some water so maw can do some washin'.

Imagine if you had a giant red mixer behind you?

OMG!
